David Fielding: Hometown All The Way
David Fielding has represented south Arkansas in the Arkansas House of Representatives since 2011. He knows the ropes in Little Rock, and he knows his district inside and out.
David is a staunch supporter of public education. During the last legislative session, he sponsored multiple bills related to public school teacher recruitment and retention and most importantly—TEACHER PAY INCREASES. David knows that our children deserve the best when it comes to education and that starts with recognizing the value of our public school teachers and support staff.
He also understands the importance of agriculture to Arkansas’s economy. He is a tireless advocate for Arkansas farmers and agriculture workers. He received an appreciation award from the Farm Bureau in the 2021 session. He stands up for veterans at every opportunity, advocates for Southern Arkansas University, and understands the importance of bringing broadband to rural communities.
David is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University. He and his wife, Shirley, raised two sons in Magnolia.
He’s hometown all the way.
