Tricky Trent is a major problem.

Arkansas deserves better.

Tricky Trent Minner has a major problem.

Minner worked for the Attorney General’s office (1), which had a hand in redrawing our state’s legislative lines. It seems Trent’s office drew Trent into a State House district that’s favorable to him (2). Maybe he thought residents of Faulkner County wouldn’t notice?

Trent has the playbook for the extremist right agenda down: he’s for school choice and lower taxes for the wealthy. Trent also wants to criminalize access to reproductive healthcare, expand access to weapons, and force a conservative Christian worldview on every Arkansan, regardless of what we believe (3).

Trent Minner is part of Arkansas’s political elite (4), perhaps thinking he is entitled to a seat in our General Assembly. But Minner is not who is best to represent Faulkner County—and he certainly should not use his position to cheat his way to the Arkansas Legislature. Trent can keep his tricks; Faulkner County doesn’t want them.
