“We’ve got to be able to go back and talk about stuff if we don’t see eye-to-eye. Not going, ‘Well, you gotta go or I gotta go.’ That’s not the way this should work. This should be students first.” – Leo Cummings III
Leo Cummings III believes in putting students first and removing barriers to learning—barriers like squabbles over politics or social issues best discussed at home that have no place on a school board that is elected to hire teachers and manage the money.

He has a background as a financial advisor, volunteers with Create Conway and United Way of Central Arkansas, and works with the Chamber of Commerce to bring the business community of Conway together, without any agenda other than to see our city thrive.
Leo will work with the school board to manage our district’s money well and without any agenda other than to see our children thrive.
Far from having no agenda, his opponent, Tami Marsh, has a track record of stirring up drama. Her experience with the school board includes attending a school board meeting once to yell about Obama six years after he left office and running for the school board. Now, she’s calling out former students who refuse to validate her teaching career by writing positive letters to support her campaign. As a real estate agent, she knows how to take focus, but not how to manage people or a large budget.
Voters agree that we want to keep the school board out of the headlines so our students’ own achievements can make the headlines. Conway doesn’t need an attention-seeker—we need a balanced leader. And that leader is Leo Cummings III.
Vote Leo Cummings III on Tuesday, May 13.
