Leona Walton wants to use her deep connections to our city and our people to help the students of Conway thrive. Running to represent Zone 5 on the Conway School Board, Leona brings a lifetime of experience that would serve us well.
A lifelong Conway resident and no-nonsense community leader, Miss Leona puts kids and teachers first—not politics. She brings heart, common sense, and a deep commitment to helping every student succeed.
From advocating common-sense support for teachers to calling out the need for better classroom discipline and parental involvement, she speaks with clarity and compassion. Leona’s service to our community is marked by her presence and involvement. She shows up and she gets to work.
This is in stark contrast to her opponent, Tom Kennedy, who has been absent and unaccountable. He doesn’t participate in candidate forums and he doesn’t interact with constituents on his campaign’s Facebook page—despite a stated goal that it be a place of dialogue. He avoids open and honest conversation, and yet, somehow he is able to decide what is best for our students and families?
Why isn’t he putting in the effort? Why does he feel entitled to make decisions without input? This is a preview of how engaged he will be if he is elected to the school board.
Let’s elect leadership that is grounded and experienced—leadership that shows up and provides real results benefiting all students.
